As for other costs, there are always the on-going domain name registration, and web hosting fees that come with all websites. We provide hosting services for just $20/mo, or you are welcome to host your website elsewhere if you already have that setup.

To that end, we also provide monthly peace-of-mind website maintenance plans. Yes, we design websites with the assumption that you do not have web development knowledge. So we simplify the backend design of the website so anyone who can use their email can just as easily make basic website updates. We also included both video instructions and an instructional manual directly within the backend of your website so you can easily reference common update instructions. Of course if you need additional help we are always here to assist with hourly work.
We’ll work with you to determine the best route here as it depends on your business goals. But if you’re targeting a single location to reach customers, and aren’t in a very competitive market, then we may only need a 10-page website. If on the other hand you are targeting multiple cities across a state, selling many services, and are in a competitive niche then a larger website will be necessary. So we can discuss these needs after we know more about your goals.
Yes, if you need written content for your website, we can help in most cases. We have a team of in-house writers whose only job is to create user-friendly content that also appeals to search engines, so you rank better on Google and reach more customers. In addition to creating content for new websites, we also create content & articles for our on-going clients as well to help them reach more customers. In addition to written content, we also provide stock photos, and if you are local in the Milwaukee, WI area, we offer in-person photo services.

After the initial questionnaire and conversations with you, we’ll have an outline of what your goals are. From there we perform any necessary research, then we rough sketch out the website structure in relation to how we think your site will fit best to achieve your goals. Next we create a development website, begin creating any necessary content, and then begin adding the website content and design. This takes a couple of weeks, after which point we’ll share the initial design with you. We typically create a 10 minute video walk-through explaining the thought and reasoning behind the design. From there we welcome any input you have, and we’ll make ay necessary edits. Then, once we are happy with the design, we’ll finish building out and testing the backend of the website. After that we’ll schedule the website launch. And lastly, once the site is launched, we’ll go through some final testing to make sure everything is good to go.
Just building a website is not going to get it ranking high on Google. Promotion of any website on Google is a totally different scope of work. However with that said, we build & design websites and content to give you the best chance of your website ranking well on Google. So unlike many ‘web designers’ who don’t know anything about ranking on Google, we actually design website specifically with the intent of reaching customers on Google. Remember just because a website is pretty does not mean it’s build to rank well on Google. So if new customers are your goal, make sure that whoever builds your website knows local SEO well – not just web design.
