How to Respond to Customer Reviews on Google

The video below is a little longer, 7 minutes, but I think it’s worth your time to watch and review some best practices for responding to customer reviews online.

One added tip: when responding to customers online, feel free to insert keywords that are related to your services and market location. That way, you’ll get some added SEO juice from your responses.

For instance, a response from an attorney to a customer with a positive review could be “Thank you _____ for your kind words. We appreciate your business and are glad you’re happy with our services. As an estate planning attorney in Milwaukee, it’s always a great to hear what my customers have to say about their experience working with us. So thank you again.”

Notice we added a few keywords for this example: “estate planning attorney,” and their location “Milwaukee.” That may not seem like much, but it helps the website rank better on Google.
